General Adviser (Welfare Law)

Context:

Citizens Advice Halton are seeking to recruit a General Adviser (Welfare Law) to join the team working from Halton’s two offices (in Runcorn and Widnes).

You must be able to show that you have experience of giving advice to members of the public in a local Citizens Advice office or a similar advice service setting.

You must demonstrate that you will be able to deal with a full range of general advice enquiries and undertake welfare benefits casework , in line with organisational quality standards.

Location:

You will be based in the local Citizens Advice offices in Halton.

Salary:  £20,456 to £22,658 [ + up to 4% pension]
(Starting salary dependent on skills and experience/you can apply to join pension scheme after probationary   period completed)

Hours:  35 hours per week.

Leave:  25 days holiday per annum + bank holidays

Closing date:          12 noon Wednesday 3rd January 2018

Debt Caseworker

Context:

Citizens Advice Halton are seeking to recruit a debt caseworker to join their team working from Halton’s two offices (in Runcorn and Widnes).

You must be able to show that you have experience of giving money advice to members of the public in a local Citizens Advice office or a similar advice service setting.

You must demonstrate that you will be able to deal with a full range of debt cases, including undertaking common initial assessments and advising clients on the management of priority and non-priority debts, in line with Money Advice Service contractual requirements and organisational quality standards.

Location:

You will be based in the local Citizens Advice offices in Halton.

Salary:  £20,456 to £24,964  [ + up to 4% pension]
(Starting salary dependent on skills and experience/you can apply to join pension scheme after probationary   period completed)

Hours:  35 hours per week (Full-time).  

Leave:  25 days holiday per annum + bank holidays (pro-rated for any employees working less than 35 hours per week)
