Worried about the cost of your energy bills? You’re not alone. Energy bills can be confusing, and it can be difficult to know where to start when you’re worried about keeping your home warm.

Through our Energy Redress project, Citizens Advice Halton provides free, independent support to help you:

Understand your energy bills and what you’re being charged for
Check whether you’re receiving all the support you’re entitled to
Find ways to reduce your energy costs
Make your home warmer and more energy efficient

You don’t need to be in energy debt to ask for help.

Whether you’re worried about your bills, struggling to keep your home warm, unsure about the support available to you, or simply want advice on using less energy, we’re here to help.

Our energy advisers can provide practical, personalised support, including:

Understanding your energy bills – we’ll help you understand what you’re being charged for and identify any problems.

Sometimes the best way to understand what's happening in your home is to see it for ourselves. Our energy adviser can visit you at home to look at your energy efficiency needs and provide practical support.

Phone Appointments

Prefer to talk things through from the comfort of your own home?

Our energy adviser can arrange a telephone appointment with you to discuss your energy needs.

In Office Appointments

Prefer to speak to someone face-to-face? You can arrange an appointment with our energy adviser at our office. This gives you the opportunity to sit down with an adviser and talk through your energy concerns.
